BHCA is inviting all members to the Annual General Meeting & Elections which will be held on Sunday, March 30th , 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00p.m. at the Beacon Hill North Community Centre – 2130 Radford Court.<\/p>\n
The nomination process will close on Wednesday March 26th.<\/p>\n
In keeping with best practice, the BHCA Constitution includes election procedures. We\u2019ve outlined them below, followed by the nomination form if you wish to run for a Board seat. Nominations to run for a Board position are open to any and all BHCA members in good standing.
\n\uf0b7 Board members are elected to the Board, not to specific roles.
\n\uf0b7 The newly elected Board will meet immediately after the election and vote which role each Board member will hold.
\n\uf0b7 The Board will initially have 6 seats, which may be increased as required, as per the rules of the BHCA Constitution.
\n\uf0b7 Members of the BHCA Board will serve a 2-year term. This will allow for a steady rotation of Board members and historical knowledge. As of this 2025 AGM, 5 seats are up for nomination.
\n\uf0b7 Memberships and prices are $10 CAD (ten) per person. Your membership, if paid with your credit card, will automatically renew on the start date of your membership. You will receive a renewal\/payment notification by email.
